I love One Direction and I am not ashamed to admit it. The obscenely popular boy band hit the U.K. scene in late 2010 as a Simon Cowell-manufactured group on The X Factor. After coming in third place and receiving a recording contract with Sony Music, One Direction’s freshman album Up All Night went on sale in the U.K. in November 2011, and peaked at number two. The album has already reached number one in six countries and after downloading their music a few months ago, they’ve been playing on my iPod nonstop.
